About The Fleagles The Fleagles are hot and happening! What are you waiting for??!!! The five far out and fabulous Fleagles have been together for less than a year, but there is a wealth of experience packed into this killer'60s style garage band. Lead vocalist, harmonica player, percussionist and Theremin master Greg Wallace has led the Electric Ferrets through a slew of good time punk records and countless sweat drenched crowd pleasing shows. Greg is an avid collector of comics and records by spanish language bands of the '60s. Bass player and vocalist Julia Devine has the strongest country roots in the band. Julia's other group, the Henpeckers, are the real down home-deal and have kicked up their heels in some of the best saloons around. Back in Ohio, Julia held down the bottom end in the King Dapper Combo and the Hillbilly Varmints. Lead guitarist and vocalist Brent Walker has been behind some wonderful '50s damaged hot rod garage recordings and live madness in Del Noah and the Mt. Ararat Finks and the Pivot Foots. He also plays in the Henpeckers, has written a book about the Bowery Boys and is finishing a definitive tome on silent era movie legend Mack Sennett. Drummer extraordinaire Rozan Simeroth has pounded the skins behind some of the best go-for-the-throat punk outfits known to man, the Rotters and Controllers to name a few. When she isn't busy bird watching throughout the land, she also plays drums with the Henpeckers. Rhythm guitarist and vocalist Edwin Letcher has been recording and dishing up madcap stage antics with more groups than you could shake a stick at. Cheeseburger, Bangers & Mash, Moist & Meaty and the Tuffies are just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. Edwin also does cartooning and published a zine called Garage & Beat. The Fleagles hit the ground running when these disparate elements came together and realized there was something magical going on. As soon as the group had a solid set together, they set up a recording session with Deke Dickerson of Untamed Youth, Dave & Deke Combo and Ecco-Fonics fame. Heck, he's famous enough just for being Deke Dickerson! The resulting tracks will be on the Fleagles debut CD "Goodbye to Mars" on Garage and Beat Records. The Fleagles also entered and won a song contest which will help keep the ball rolling. The Devil-Ettes, one of the hottest troupes of synchronized go-go dancers in the world, put the word out that they needed a theme song for an upcoming video and the Fleagles' entry proved to be just what the doctor ordered. Stay tuned; things are really starting to get cool and crazy.
